Can't Sleep!
Well last night was a hard night. I tossed and turned all night. At 6pm yesterday, we went to caribou and I got a caramel cooler and I forgot to get decaf. I didn't realize the effect the caffeine would have on me, otherwise, I would've remembered to get decaf! If I didn't have heartburn, I was hungry or thirsty, if I wasn't hot, I was cold, If the baby wasn't moving actively, I was getting up to go to the bathroom! I was everything BUT tired, wait, I WAS TIRED, but I couldn't fall asleep for the life of me! I also had too much stuff on my mind, while I was lying awake uncomfortable. Honestly, most of the things were completely not worth my hours of being awake in the middle of the night. They just kept circling in my mind. I suppose this was God's way of getting me EXTRA prepared for those constant middle of the night feedings when the new baby comes. That has to be it...I hope I can sleep tonight! Ugh!

Pregnancy Update - 30 weeks!
I am 30 weeks along and getting bigger and bigger each day (at least I feel like it!) They said at my last doctors appointment that I was measuring 2 cm above normal but not to worry as this happens with mothers that have multiple children (something about the muscles stretching during my last pregnancy). I have gained 17.5 pounds and will expect to gain about a pound each week till the end. I am starting to get uncomfortable, especially while trying to sleep. I cannot seem to get comfortable at night and just can't turn my brain off. The other night I wasn't able to fall asleep until 2:30AM!! Not good! I suppose this is God's way of preparing me for the middle of the night feedings again, etc. I am also getting lots of heart burn (lots and lots of hair, right?) and backpain (probably from lifting all my precious babes during the day). On the bright side of this pregnancy, I am experiencing lots of movement from this little boy and am excited to meet him! I am also anticipating Jack's reaction to this whole thing. I wonder how he will act after the baby is born? I just hope that he know's he will always be our first born and that we love him no matter what! Ben and I have also talked about names but won't be unveiling it till he's born.

Easter Sunday!

Just discovered the goodies!

Yummm!
On Easter morning, I had a small basket waiting for Jack when he woke up. He ran over in amazement when he realized there was candy and lots of goodies for him. He went crazy for the gummy bears and nearly ate the whole bag in one sitting. I also had a book called, "The Story of Easter", in the basket explaining to him why we celebrate the holiday as Christians. After, we went to church to celebrate Jesus' Resurrection. We want to make sure that we don't overdue the Easter Bunny thing as we want Jack to know the real reason why we celebrate Easter. But, it's not always an easy task in this day in age when the Easter Bunny is all around and everywhere. Ben and I often struggle over these types of holidays and wonder if we are doing the "right thing" as Christian parents.

ECFE Class
Jack and I have started to take a Early Childhood Family Education class. We go every Wednesday morning for two hours. The class is focused on the book by Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish, "How To Listen So Kids Will Talk, and How To Talk So Kids Will Listen". This is an 11 week class and will go till June 9 (right before my due date!). We are given time to play and explore with our kids with learning, circle time and singing songs in the first hour and then then the children go play outside and have snack time the second hour, while we focus on the core ideas of the book with the other parents. The first class went very well and I am excited for us to go each week! This will give Jack and I a chance to spend quality time together before the new baby comes!

Jack's new dresser
So for the past month I've been looking for a dresser for Jack's room and I have been striking out left and right. I've checked everywhere. Everything was either way too expensive or really cheap quality. Finally, Jack and I went shopping and found one yesterday! I actually went looking at Burlington Coat Factory (In the Baby Depot Department) and noticed one that was the perfect "kid" size and the same color as his bed frame. The one problem was the price! It said it was $399 and I wasn't going to pay that for a kids dresser, knowing that it may get destroyed in the years to come. So I asked the manager if they sold "floor models" and they did! It also was the last one in stock. There are a couple small scratches on the bottom corners but no big deal as I can just stain the bottom a bit. I got about $150 off and went home with a beautiful dresser!
