Jack partied too hard at Grandma's on St. Patty's Day :(

Yesterday, Jack was playing at Grandma Wendy's house and took an unfortunate spill! He actually grabbed onto an end table and it came down with him as he fell to the floor. The table hit him directly in the eye and now he's got a shiner!

Jack says, "You should see the other guy, he's in bad shape!!" :)

It's so hard to see your child get hurt and to make matters worse, everywhere you go people ask you, "What happened to the little guy?" "Is he alright?" "Oh no!". It's completely embarrassing I tell you and you feel even more horrible because people think that your hurting your child when they see an injury like that! I'm sure there are many more black eyes, scraches, bumps and bruises to come but I just hope that it happens when he's older so he can better understand why he got hurt.:(

A Lovely Massage

For my birthday, Ben got me a gift certificate to go and get a massage for an hour! So on Saturday, I finally got to use it. It was sooo awesome and much needed. The therapist told me I had tons of kinks and knots in my back. Probably from carting around Jack all the time. Anyway, it was so nice. Thanks hunny! Here's the place if anyone is interested and its cheap too! www.aravadamassage.com

Jack's 10 Months Old Today!!

Looking back, I cannot believe that it has already been 10 months since Jack's birth! We are so lucky to have such a neat little man. :) Lately, Jack has been a totally sponge with learning new things. He's so active with crawling, talking baby talk, pulling himself up, trying new things to eat, showing tons of personality and of course getting into lots of trouble! We love you sooo much Jack-a-boo!

Weekend Events...

On Saturday night, our friends from small group had a Sushi, Potsticker, Spring Roll making party! It was so yummy and tons of fun! We all created our own little meals and they turned out great.

Sunday, after church, we went to the Home & Garden Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center. There was lots of home improvement vendors, exhibits and free samples and it was nice the get out of the house for the afternoon, but overall, it was very expensive and parking wasn't cheap! I think next year, we'll pass.

After the show, we decided to get a bite to eat at our fav restaurant, El Loro. Jack had his first mini-tantrum in the restaurant! He began crying, screaming and throwing his toys, bottle and binkie on the floor. If Jack had been a little older, I would do like my Dad did 24 years ago and take me out to the car and give me something to cry about! (spank, spank!!) This was after I threw a fit at the grocery store because I couldn't get something I wanted! (Dad & Mom - I now know how you two felt that night!) After a little bit, Jack settled down and we continued to enhale our meal for fear that Jacks ugly tantrum would reveal itself again! I hope the next time we go out this doesn't happen! Heres what looks to be a cute pics of Jack, but right after this the tantrum started!
