Outing at the Park

Today it was such a beautiful day, (mid 60's) we decided to take all the daycare kids to the park! It was so nice to get outside and into the fresh air. I've definetly got Spring fever now! I just hope this weather sticks around for a while. The kids had so much fun on the swings, slides and running around. The highlight of the day was when Jack found a mud puddle and started jumping in it with his long pants and shoes! : ) I know he's a boy but my immediate reaction was to stop him and get him outta there! I should've just let him play because at that point he was already a mess! I'm such a mom..

It's Potty Time!

Over the last couple of weeks I have been putting Jack on his little potty. Each time he does his business I give him a thin mint cookie. This has seemed to work wonders as each time I put him on the potty, he goes and then he says "cookie!" after. He has been going an average of 3 times a day but is still going in his diaper. I am not sure he really knows that he shouldn't be going in it yet or to hold it, but we are getting closer!

Jack's Big Kid Room

We are starting to get very excited for the baby to come so we are getting alot of things done around the house, including turning the guest bedroom into Jack's big kid room. He isn't sleeping in there yet but will be soon as the baby will be taking the nursery in June. So far, we have painted the room green and blue and bought a new quilt and sheets from Pottery Barn for Jack's big bed. We went for a multi-sports theme since I am not sure what Jack will be involved in yet. I have started to put up pictures on the walls but still need a few more to add to the room. We are also looking for a dresser but haven't found an affortable one yet.

24 Weeks

Today I am 24 weeks along in my pregnancy and time is flying by. I had my appointment this morning and the doctor says everything is looking healthy and normal. I've been feeling pretty good besides the occasional heart burn and backpain, mostly due to picking up kids all day long from the daycare.

The Big 27!

Last weekend we celebrated my 27th birthday. On Friday, we went out with some of my friends to Kona Grill in Eden Prairie and then went bowling! It was so great to see so many of my good friends that night and bowling was lots of fun, even if I am 6 months pregnant!

Strike!..Dang It..I mean Spare!

On my actual birthday we went to 112 Eatery with my mom and brother. It was pretty good restaurant, however, I had to ask what each thing on the menu was as it was a very "fancy foodie" place. We all ended up getting these awesome 112 cheeseburgers and their french fries were amazing.

On Sunday, Ben's family had a "taco bar" party for me and that was very yummy. Thanks so much everyone for helping me celebrate!
