The Big 27!

Last weekend we celebrated my 27th birthday. On Friday, we went out with some of my friends to Kona Grill in Eden Prairie and then went bowling! It was so great to see so many of my good friends that night and bowling was lots of fun, even if I am 6 months pregnant!

On my actual birthday we went to 112 Eatery with my mom and brother. It was pretty good restaurant, however, I had to ask what each thing on the menu was as it was a very "fancy foodie" place. We all ended up getting these awesome 112 cheeseburgers and their french fries were amazing.

On Sunday, Ben's family had a "taco bar" party for me and that was very yummy. Thanks so much everyone for helping me celebrate!

Alexandria

Last weekend we went to Alexandria with some friends from our small group. One of the couples parents had a house on the lake and it was very nice. We played lots of games, ate lots of yummy food, played outside with the kids and enjoyed one anothers company. It was a great, relaxing time spent with good friends.

Chad and Nikki's Wedding Reception

A couple weekends ago we went to my friend's Nikki and Chad's Wedding Reception. They had a very small wedding ceremony at home with immediate family and then a reception after with more family and friends. It was so good to see them so happy and was great to see some old friends from highschool! Congrats Nikki and Chad, we love you guys!

It's another BOY!

On Monday we had our 19 week ultrasound. Everything went well and the baby looked healthy and we also found out the sex and its going to be a Boy! We were totally surprised as I thought it was for sure going to be a girl as this pregnancy has been totally different from my first. Last time I craved sweets and this time it was salty things. Last time I got sick about 5 times a day for the first 4 months and this time, only about once every third day for the 1st trimester. Everything was just totally different. But I now know that it doesn't matter at all! It does make sense though that everything has been different as it is a different human growing inside me! : ). We are so glad that Jack will have a little brother to play with and it will be a wonderful change for our family. Here our a couple pictures of the ultrasound.

It's a Boy!

# 2 is on the way!

Yes, we are having another baby! I am 15 weeks along already and the baby is due, June 19! We are so excited and anticipating the baby to come. I have had a touch of morning sickness, but nothing compared to when I was pregnant with Jack. That was morning, noon and night! Over Christmas, we told the entire family and it was so fun to see everyone get so excited. I already feel more at ease with this pregnancy as I kind of know what to expect now. Our ultrasound is scheduled for January 25. We will hopefully find out if its a boy or a girl. We will keep everyone updated as to how the pregnancy is going and the babies sex. We are so excited!
